Nifty Accreditor Privacy Policy

Nifty Accreditor Pty Ltd is not in the business of making money off your data. Everything we collect is used exclusively to help us provide you with the best service possible.

I. Identity & Access

When you sign up for Nifty Accreditor, we ask for your name, organisation name, and email address. That’s just so you can personalise your new account, and we can send you invoices, updates, or other essential information. We’ll never sell or rent your personal info to third parties, and we won’t use your name or organisation in marketing statements without your permission, either.

When you contact Nifty Accreditor with a question or to ask for help, we’ll keep that correspondence, and the email address, for future reference. When you browse our marketing pages, we’ll track that for statistical purposes (like conversion rates and to test new designs). We also store any information you volunteer, like surveys, for as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes - within statutory limits, or as required by law.

II. The only times we’ll ever share your info:

  1. To provide products or services you’ve requested, with your permission.
  2. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service or as otherwise required by law.
  3. If Nifty Accreditor is acquired by or merged with another company — we don’t plan on that, but if it happens — we’ll provide you reasonable written notice before any information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

III. Your Rights With Respect to Your Information

At Nifty Accreditor, we strive to apply the same data rights to all customers, regardless of their location. Some of these rights include:

If you have questions about exercising these rights or need assistance, please contact us at contact@niftyaccreditor.com.

IV. Processors we use

As part of the services we provide, and only to the extent necessary, we may use certain third party processors to help run our applications and provide our services to you. For a full list of these processors, please visit our subprocessors page.

V. Law enforcement

Nifty Accreditor won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless we are compelled by legal process or in limited circumstances in the event of an emergency request. And unless we’re legally prevented from it, we’ll always inform you when such requests are made.

VI. Security & Encryption

All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. Please see our Security Details page for more information.

VII. Data Retention

If you choose to cancel your account, your content will become immediately inaccessible and should be purged from our systems in full within 90 days.

We will only keep your information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No other purpose in this notice will require us keeping your information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

VIII. Location of Site and Data

This Site is operated in Australia. If you are located in the European Union or elsewhere outside of Australia, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to Australia. By using our Site, participating in any of our services and/or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer.
